Lindy Schneider is a passionate freelance writer and communications maven who believes the right word changes everything. She became a tenant at YREC in mid-2019 with the intention of moving her business to the ‘next level’ by having a professional office away from her home. “I also sought the benefits of being among other like-minded business people where support and camaraderie were highly valued,” she says.
For more than 30 years she’s been magically turning people’s words and marketing ideas into inspiring stories that move people to action in business and in life. A self-employed small business owner for two decades, Lindy has been the ‘right word’ answer for more large and small businesses in more industries than she could possibly fit on a CV, and she’s backed this real time experience with a mountain of post-grad training and a pleasing stack of publishing credits in print and online media.She started her working life as a marketing manager in international business, before evolving into her real passion – writing – and a career in freelance writing, editing and communications/marketing.
She brings loads of experience in large and small business, a client base that is wide and deep, and a genuine and heartfelt desire to support other women to find the voice, and the words, they need to say so the world knows how awesome they are. She has written several books, and her articles feature regularly in magazines. Much of her client work doesn’t end up bearing her name but you can get a feel for what she does on her website.
When you can’t get the words to make sense, Lindy can make them sing. From copywriting, blogs, web content, articles, editing and proofreading, to full length books, commissions and project development, she’s a library of knowledge, a co-creative leader in her field, and an inspiring collaborator who loves to share! She has lived in Warburton since 2001 but can work ‘virtually’ anywhere in the world..
