Born local.
Built for builders.
For more than 25 years, the Yarra Ranges Enterprise Centre has been the place small businesses in our part of the world come to start, grow, and stick around.
Decades of standing next to local business.
- 1998 Founded as a not-for-profit to support local enterprise.
We started in 1998 because the people building things in the Ranges deserved someone in their corner. That hasn’t changed.
What started as a small business support service has grown into a hub on the edge of Warburton — desks, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a network of members across the Yarra Ranges. We’re still a not-for-profit, still governed by a local board, and every dollar still goes back into programs for the next person walking through the door.
We're not trying to grow YREC. We're trying to grow what comes through it.
The mission is simple.
The work isn’t.
-
Mission
To grow enterprise in the Yarra Ranges by giving local businesses the space, mentorship, and community they need to thrive — at a price every founder can afford.
-
Vision
A Yarra Ranges where the next generation of business owners can build a great company without leaving the valley.
The people behind the Hub
A local board, in your corner.
YREC is a not-for-profit, governed by a volunteer board of local people — engineers, business owners, advisors and makers who give their time so the next person through the door has somewhere to start.
